  • Explore Local Coverage Determination (LCD) guidelines and their affect on payment and compliant documentation;
  • Explain proper use of hospice assessment tools to improve documentation of evaluate patient eligibility; and,
  • Review Targeted Probe and Educate (TPE), Supplemental Medical Review Contractor (SMRC), and other audits.

Pennsylvania Hospice and Palliative Care Network partners with National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs in a program called, 
We Honor Veterans and participates through the Hospice Veterans Partnership(HVP).
